This Balayage workshop is an education experience like no other! Spend the day at Kara’s salon in the quaint beach town of Summerland. This workshop is totally creative and Kara’s focus is perfecting your brush stroke, connecting with your own Artistic Intuition, and understand the laws of truly natural, sunkissed hair. The first part of the day Kara will demo her signature Santa Barbara Balayage technique on a live model. After the demo we will enjoy the sweeping ocean views and a delicious lunch catered by one of our local restaurants. The second half of the day is where we work our magic with the hands-on portion. All classes are kept at 5 people so you have plenty of one-on-one time with Kara. She will share her favorite color line and lightener, tips and tricks to painting the most seamless looks, and how to take the best pictures to reflect your work! Our day ends with a toast with a mimosa or cocktail! This day is meant for you to learn, but also a little getaway for you to enjoy!

SHADOW DAY
Spend the day with Kara at her beautiful ocean side salon in Summerland, CA. She will share all her favorite color formulas and techniques as you shadow her through her work day. Shadow days are Wednesday-Friday and dates depending on availability. To set a date email Kara at kara@kararichard.com. Included in the day is lunch at one of Kara’s favorite local restaurants, The Art of Sunkissed Hair workbook, and swag bag with some of her favorite tools and hair color products. Kara curates the work day with clients that show a variety of Kara’s skills so you will feel like you will leave with so much information on creating beautiful natural sun kissed hair color.
