Want a much deserved getaway to a beautiful education destination? Visit the “American Rivera” of Santa Barbara and explore the tiny beach town of Summerland, nestled just 10 minutes from SB! There you will find Kara’s oceanside salon, Summerland Salon & Spa where you will spend 3 hours learning as Kara creates her signature Santa Barbara Balayage look on a live model. Everything you need for the day is provided and a beautiful lunch is catered just for you.

The class begins with Santa Barbara Balayage theory. Kara will explain the natural laws of sunkissed color and how that inspired her to create her signature placement. During her demo on a live model, you are able to ask as many questions as you like and take as many pictures of video that you like (just please keep them for yourself ;) While the Balayage processes you will have a delicious lunch (included in cost) from one of our local Summerland cafes. A menu will be provided ahead of time so you can choose what you like. Kara customizes every Balayage class to what you need so during processing time we can also have a Q&A or chat about anything in our industry.. The class is held at her location in Summerland, CA, but she is also able to travel. Travel fees may be included to the price. Please schedule your class with Kara before purchasing your ticket.
